The balcony view was fantastic and the breakfast was very good and varied; the reception was very friendly and they thanked us for the local activity tips. It should be noted that some work is needed in the shower, as a very amateur‑looking sealant was spread under the shower, possibly a temporary fix.

The hotel offers an extraordinary view of the lake. The two people running the place, more like a guesthouse, speak French and German. The rooms are comfortable but choose the upstairs one for a better view and brighter rooms. The breakfast table was carefully prepared. Important note: make sure to record the GPS coordinates because the guesthouse is hard to find and the narrow alleys of Agios Germanos make for risky detours. There was no kettle, but I borrowed one from a neighbour. Watch out for changes in telephone operators, especially when walking around the lake, you’ll end up with Albanian or North Macedonian operators; put your phone on airplane mode otherwise you’ll get a huge bill!

The location and view are very nice, but opening a window lets anyone passing by see the whole room.

The location is great and the owner was lovely. Breakfast at the café was served with stunning views and was wonderful. Nothing to complain about, it was charming.

The view is amazing! The room is nice but a bit dark and the welcome was good. The GPS and Google Maps can’t find the spot. Since it’s a B n’B and not a hotel, it was a real hassle to locate it up in the village on narrow, steep roads… The Wi‑Fi doesn’t work and the phone picks up the Albanian network – out‑of‑treaty charges guaranteed! Breakfast was very nicely presented in a beautiful room with a great view, but the products were of poor quality. Too bad!
