The colonial home was beautifully renovated, with a pool featuring waterfalls and rainbow lights, friendly staff, and breakfast included. I’m very happy that my feedback was taken into account, making me feel comfortable enough to extend my stay. Thanks to Jessica and the rest of the Casa Azuli team. I wish all the houses on the street around Casa Azuli were also renovated to the same standard.

The property itself is a restored and renovated colonial guest house which is beautiful on the outside and inside. I would describe it as an enclosed oasis. Mr Mario is super welcoming and Jessica is amazing and I also got to meet the owners, who were so warm and welcoming. I like the breakfast here, it is cooked on the spot in the morning. This place feels more like a home, and not a traditional hotel. I loved my room, rainbow lights and waterfalls in the pool ☺️. 1) The staff members are nice and I appreciate them, but I faced some little issues with a couple of them regarding food safety protocols as I was going through a GI tract infection. However, the issues were handled by the upper managers promptly. I had to extend my stay due to health reasons. 2) Not all the buildings outside Casa Azuli are beautiful like it, so it depressed me to walk downtown sometimes when I had to look at broken or low maintenance homes beside beautiful ones

The hotel has a lot of charm. The room was spacious and nice. We got the room in front of the pool and it was very convenient to step out directly. The pool was small but very cool. Breakfast was prepared on the spot and tasty. The hotel was a bit far from the center; walking would take 15 minutes, but with the heat we took an Uber because the price was very low.

The staff were extremely friendly, the hotel looked lovely and the suite was definitely worth the price, while the breakfasts were quite good, especially for a sensitive stomach, and the pool was attractive. The private terrace offered a superb view. When my stay ended they arranged a ride for me at the exact time I needed, 6 am, and were very courteous. I chose to leave a review without ever feeling pressured. I couldn’t find anything I disliked; the birds that visit the property were the highlight and I think they should create a bird‑themed concept or install fountains for them to drink and eat.
