The hotel sits beside the lake, close to the city centre, with easy access to public transport, restaurants, shops, and lakeside walks. I received a complimentary upgrade to a lakeside‑view room, offering a calm, soothing view of the water. The staff were courteous, helpful, and prompt.

The location and the staff were very friendly, and the free laundry service was a great perk for travelers. They even helped load the machines and pack the clothes into bags once the machines were done. The downside was the traffic noise below; we had a river‑facing view but the air conditioning was still off, so we had to open the windows.

The place was a dream – lakefront, gorgeous views of Qiandao, and the bed was a super king that felt like a cloud. Staff were warm, and the laundry room was a lifesaver; the staff member made sure my clothes went from washer to dryer and came back folded. The only hiccup was the payment – they said they'd accept foreign cards but it didn't go through, so bring a local card just in case.
