“Great location, great service with a personal touch”
Good breakfast buffet with enough variety to keep us happy for the days we were there. Location was in the old Taichung district & near the legendary Miyahara shop, both the old & new train stations & great range of F&B options for different budgets. The service was brisk, efficient with a gentle personal touch. Just 2 out of many examples were: our 1st day, we were heading to a popular restaurant and the young lady at concierge immediately offered to check if there were seats and made the booking for us. On our last day, we asked to check out a little after the standard time as one of us were feeling ill. The front desk immediately despatched a housekeeper to check on us and offer help, in addition to allowing us to stay a little longer. We really appreciated the care :). Night lights were useful but a touch too bright near the bed for a light sleeper. The glass walls separating the bedroom from the bath area meant we could not leave the low lights on at night as it shone through the glass
