We loved how friendly the owners were, the breakfast was delicious, and the view was stunning. Because we stayed in August, the room was very hot; the fans helped, but an air‑con would have been better. A sun umbrella on the terrace would have been useful.

It could be the enthusiasm and simplicity of Stefano and Maria Teresa, who run both the B&B and the restaurant so well; it could be the location with a spectacular view of the cliff and the south Ascea beaches; it could be the rural building, harmoniously renovated; it could be the fact that you’re surrounded by quiet, untouched nature and ancient olive groves; it could be the direct path to the Lover’s Trail that leads to the beaches; it could be the chance to dine at Continuum 1929 with local Cilento food at km 0; it could be the view from the panoramic room’s terrace. Perhaps it’s all of these together that make this place special. Immediately after the town of Ascea, after a steep descent, the property sits with ample parking. Breakfast is plentiful on the restaurant terrace with sea view beyond the olive groves.

“Una settimana di relax”

Ci siamo trovati benissimo, Stefano e Mariateresa sono due host eccezionali: molto disponibili, simpatici, di compagnia e pronti a dare consigli e informazioni su Ascea e dintorni. La struttura è divisa in due blocchi, camere da un lato e il ristorante (che gestiscono sempre loro e dove si fa anche la colazione) immediatamente accanto. E' immersa nel verde ed è il top se si cerca silenzio e tranquillità. La camera e il bagno sono ben puliti e confortevoli. Non c'è aria condizionata ma viene fornito un ventilatore. Per la colazione Stefano è molto flessibile, ci ha sempre accontentato in tutte le richieste (anche per il latte vegetale). Per arrivare al mare c'è un sentiero che si percorre in circa 15 minuti (meglio farlo con le scarpe da trekking), è quasi tutto all'ombra. In alternativa, sempre in 15 minuti, si arriva al mare in auto e si trova parcheggio facilmente. La strada di accesso alla struttura è un po' stretta, la prima volta sembra ripida, ma di fatto si percorre senza problemi anche con un'auto bassa. Nulla. Sarebbe ottimo avere i climatizzatori, ma già lasciando le finestre aperte la grande presenza di verde aiuta a tenere le temperature sotto controllo. Per la colazione metterei una lavagna/bacheca con le informazioni sulle disponibilità del giorno. Per il resto bravi ragazzi! Continuate così
