The bed linen had stains, and the shower knob kept falling off, nearly hitting my head. The shower taps were loose and kept coming off.

“Most horrible place ever”

This was the worst place we’ve ever stayed. The whole place was filthy: hair everywhere in the bath, shower, and bathroom floor; walls and doors were dirty; the shower was black with mold; plugs were hanging out of the wall. The room light didn’t work properly, and one tap was broken. Pillows and towels were dirty and stained, and there were no plugs next to the bed. The walls had many screws and pre‑stik on them. The fridge, coffee counter, and toaster were filthy, and the cupboards with crockery were so dirty. They said the room would be cleaned daily, but the bed wasn’t even made properly. The only door between our room and other guests let us hear everything going on next door, so we couldn’t sleep. I’ll never stay there again!

“Good”

The place is in a great spot and the room was comfy. The host was very friendly and went above and beyond for us. The cleaner, however, didn’t actually tidy the room; she only washed the dishes and left just a few pillows on the bed.

The lodge was spotless. The only issue was that the water stopped in the shower after 10 .mon b4 showering.
