I was pleasantly surprised by the smooth check‑in and the flexibility of the hours, but the smoke alarm went off twice in the morning even though no smoke was present.

The room was comfortable, quiet, and brand new; the staff on the phone were polite, though I didn’t see anyone in person during my two days. The coffee machine worked well, the rain shower and bathroom were amazing—probably even better than the room itself—but the coffee shop was closed when I left in the mornings. I never got the promised email with my room number, and nobody was actually there, though I could reach them quickly by phone. The room wasn’t cleaned the first night, though I’m not sure if that was an oversight or my mistake. If you have mobility issues, a lot of luggage, or a child, be aware that the stairs to the second‑floor rooms are quite steep.

Parking right in front of the building was hassle‑free, the rooms were modern and the code entry worked well; we liked that we weren’t staying directly on the beach promenade but could walk to the sea. At the same time a wine seminar was happening, and apparently the participants either couldn’t find the abstract toilet signage or didn’t understand the special door type—perhaps due to the alcohol—so several of them opened our room door thinking it was a bathroom; we were relieved to lock it from the inside after returning and we took it in good humor.

The room was beautifully furnished, the bathroom was large and everything was clean; the location is also perfect within the town.
