Paraty is always a hit – the town’s mix of beaches, waterfalls, and historic spots is a treat, and the locals are super friendly. The lodge sits right by the historic center, and the hosts are polite, helpful, and flexible, even offering on‑site parking. But the room is pretty basic and the TV is old and glitchy, so you won’t get much entertainment.

Toninho was super friendly and welcoming, the breakfast was great, and the room matched the photo and was clean. The price was a good deal.

Tony was awesome, but on Mother’s Day they forgot to serve breakfast. Tony explained it and I understood – his wife had to take the kids, so it was a special day.
