The staff were absolutely wonderful, the best I’ve ever met, and they deserve a big raise; however, our room was just average and nothing special, which was a bit disappointing.

The hotel had a market with coffee and essentials, and our room featured double sinks and a bathtub, but the interior felt gloomy compared to the photos, the layout wasn’t resort‑style, the bleach smell hit us hard when we opened the door so we had to open the patio door, the bed was extremely hard and I ended up sleeping on the couch, the A/C fan was broken and made a loud noise whenever it turned off, the front desk attendant was rude, didn’t give us the correct room number when we activated our keys, and when I asked again she was irritated and dismissive; the ice maker is hard to find on the floor and signage is missing, and parking is limited.

The place was clean, but we paid for an ocean view and received a roof view instead; celebrating our 25‑year anniversary, we were very disappointed by the treatment and the fact that we didn’t get what we paid for.

The hotel’s facilities were nice, but the room view was terrible—supposed to be ocean, yet we saw pieces of the ocean and mostly the hotel across from us, and the Marriott blocks the view.
