Located 6 km from Mallow Town, Springfort Hall Hotel is a serene 18th-century manor nestled in 18th-century woodland, surrounded by elegantly landscaped grounds and rolling pastures of the North Cork Golden Vale Countryside and the Black Water Valley. The hotel felt like a beautiful old‑style house, and the room was very comfortable with a lovely view; the staff were friendly and helpful, and the bar dinner had attentive, friendly waiters. The grounds were stunning, so I'd definitely recommend staying here and plan to return. The only downside was that the shower was a bit difficult to use, but otherwise everything was great.

The staff were lovely and the room was great size; I stayed for a wedding as part of the bridal party and we were looked after so well.

It’s a country‑based property with good road access and plenty of parking; the building has period features, the food is good, the staff are great. The bathrooms are dated, narrow, and have showers above the baths, and there is no lift.

The staff are the only asset of this hotel. I wish I could say more, but the use of the hotel for a Bingo Loco event the night before my wife was playing an All Ireland Junior Final was not good. Police were called, and even though we were in a quiet end of the hotel, the noise was incredible. I heard some of our party got discounts for the hassle, but we did not. I guess that’s due to me not kicking up a fuss. As a couple who travel to Cork a lot for GAA, we would not revisit unless we had guarantees there were no weddings or other such events.

It had an old‑world charm and a very easy‑going, relaxed atmosphere; the staff were pleasant and there was no stress about having my dog with me. The only thing missing was an outdoor bin for pet owners to deposit their pets’ deposits.
