The hosts were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to help us. They even have a couple of cats and a little tomcat that roamed around, which was a nice touch. The outdoor area had plenty of loungers and benches, perfect for just relaxing.

The owners are super nice and the place sits in a great spot with a charming retro‑cottage feel; everything was spotless and breakfast offered a huge selection for a very reasonable price. The shared kitchen and bathrooms were fine, and staying there gave me a pleasant dose of nostalgia. The only annoyances were the inevitable floor creaks and a hallway light that kept flashing into the room at night, but otherwise I had no complaints.

The personnel were excellent—always ready to assist and very courteous. The rooms are a bit dated, but they work well for anyone who prefers roaming the beautiful countryside over staying in a fancy hotel. Thanks for the straightforward hospitality.

The couple who run the place were welcoming and attentive, and the retro décor took me back a few decades. Breakfast was solid—scrambled eggs or a sausage on request—and the shared bathrooms (separate for men and women) were always stocked with soap, paper towels, and toilet paper. The large communal kitchen, two roomy fridges, and a cozy outdoor seating area made it a great spot for a low‑key drink or an overnight stay if you don’t need modern luxury.
