“Disappointed, not for us.”
The woman of the house was very warm and welcoming, but the room was small, cramped, and had no external window except a closed shuttered one that opened onto a long, very narrow bathroom that seemed unsealed. A sporadic noise and a sickly perfumed spray from a wall‑mounted device kept us awake all night. The floor level dropped in the room, so moving around required great caution. There was no space to store things except a wardrobe, a tiny shelf, and a table. The website description was inaccurate, and we felt it was overpriced. We left after the first night because we got very little sleep; it might suit some travellers, but it definitely didn’t suit us.
