The room was a good value and a short walk from the beach, and there were some high‑quality local eateries nearby at very reasonable prices.

The location was decent, about a 10‑minute walk from Bentota village, with small shops and eateries nearby; the garden was nice, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was modern. The staff were friendly and helpful, but the room had a familiar musty smell unless the sliding doors were open and the fan was on. The towel smelled heavily of mold because it was stored in a cupboard that hadn’t been disinfected or aired properly. I booked a single room with air‑con, yet there was no air‑con in the room; I was offered another room at double the price for air‑con, which I refused. I advise double‑checking with staff that your booking includes air‑con, because they’ll try to give you a fan‑only room if possible.

The place was very clean and comfortable, though a tile store was close by.
It was an amazing place with a super friendly host; I’ll definitely come back someday and miss the beautiful garden.
