Hotel Singh Residency

The hotel was great. The staff were extremely helpful and very well behaved. We didn’t feel like mere guests for three days; they treated us so well. Even the arrangements they made for our onward trip to Prayagraj and Ayodhya were so handy. The vehicle and driver they assigned were of great help as well. Consider staying here. It’s at the centre of Gowdolia Chauk, which makes your visits to Vishwanath Temple and Dashashwamedh Ghat easier. It’s also close to the famous Kashi Chat Bhandar.

I enjoyed the food at the restaurant—it was tasty and healthy, and the staff were friendly. Yet the approach road isn’t listed on Google Maps, it’s far from Varanasi ghats and the main temples, and auto/taxi drivers refuse to come to the hotel; once inside, there are no easy ways to travel outside. The restaurant opens at 08:00 AM, which felt late for me because I usually have tea at 06:00 AM.

The hotel sits right next to all the temples and ghats, and the parking in the area is convenient. Room service was quick and the food tasted great 😊. Thanks for making my trip memorable with a comfortable stay.

A solid choice for a Varanasi stay, especially close to Dashashvamedh ghat and the temple. The administration was very good, and the staff helped make the tour easy ☺️. The rooms were decent and the prices genuine. They also run their own restaurant, particularly strong on main courses, and the snacks are good quality. It’s a family-friendly hotel that’s helpful if that’s what you need. 👍🏼
