The value for money is high. There’s a free shuttle to the city, and many guests seem to be students, which feels safer. The facilities are new and complete, like a dorm. Some angles offer sea views. Because it’s close to the coast, it’s too humid; clothes don’t dry well. Some areas lack elevators, so you have to carry luggage up the stairs.

The location is far from the center, but the free shuttle gets you to the MTR quickly, and it’s nice to find some quiet after a hectic city day. It’s probably one of the most budget‑friendly and spacious places in HK. After we asked to clean the room—priced at 100HK$—the room was cleaned well. The first room we received was very dirty, the bathroom doorknob was broken, the shower curtains were moldy, and there were bed bugs; the receptionist quickly swapped the room, but it was still dirty. We went to reception to cancel the reservation and they said I had to do everything, so I did, but no one got back to me. The girls at reception were pretty rude and rolled their eyes while I was speaking.
