“Staffs are excellent!”
The walls are damp and the room has a damp smell. Water splashes outside the bathtub when taking a shower, and a shower curtain and showerhead need to be added.

A stunning, well‑organized, and cozy place with exceptional staff always present, attentive, and helpful the entire time, despite being in a great overall location. The approach/arrival route to the hotel is a bit rough and takes you through some strange‑feeling areas.

The riad itself is beautiful, tastefully decorated, and has a lovely terrace to relax on. Zacharia and the team were genuinely wonderful throughout our stay — kind, attentive, and always available. We truly cannot thank them enough for their hospitality. Unfortunately, we did not manage to get a proper night’s sleep during our three‑night stay. The humidity in the Ivory Room was extremely high and, for us, made the room very uncomfortable. The amount of wool and other fabrics in the room seemed to retain the moisture and contributed to a persistent damp smell. We fully understand that humidity is part of the reality of staying in a 150‑year‑old building in the Medina. That was not the issue, nor were we expecting anyone to perform miracles or provide a solution. What was disappointing was the way our perfectly reasonable observation was handled. On our last morning, we invited the owner into the room simply so he could experience the conditions for himself. His initial response was that everything was perfectly fine. After spending a few minutes in the room, he acknowledged the humidity, but when asked about it, essentially dismissed our experience as “your opinion.” That response was unnecessarily condescending and, frankly, left a very poor impression. It is a shame, because the riad is beautiful and Zacharia and his team are excellent. Unfortunately, the owner's response overshadows what otherwise could have been a very positive experience.
