The atmosphere and people were simply great; this family‑run pension had very warm, tradition‑loving hosts. The traditional breakfast and dinner were excellent, with drinks included, especially the palinka. They slaughtered a pig, and in the evenings we enjoyed fresh pork specialties that were all delicious—highly recommended. Everything was super.

The house felt authentically Maramureșean, from the décor to the food and hospitality. The food and palinka were made by the hosts, and the location was very quiet. We felt extraordinarily comfortable! We’ll come back. Everything pleased us.

The accommodation was in a very quiet Borsa area, with parking on the private estate. The room was spacious and comfortable, the bathroom was adequate, and Firuta was an excellent host. Even though she didn’t speak English, we got along pretty well. We recommend dinner and breakfast, because Firuta cooks very well and in large quantities—hard to finish what’s served. Nothing, everything was very good.
The pillows were super‑high quality, the room terraces offered incredible mountain views, the lady was extremely kind, and the homemade food was hearty! Everything was fine.
