The reception was excellent, the owner was very helpful and the service flawless; we enjoyed a great evening and a superb meal.

The place feels home‑like and Etienne greets you like an old friend—he really knows how to host. The only snag was the Wi‑Fi, which dropped out a lot when the weather turned bad.

I liked the freedom to come and go and the relaxed spot, especially since it’s close to the French border. The extra stuff—dessert, drinks, evening meal—felt a bit steep for what they were.
