Nothing positive. The mattress and bed were in bad condition. To heat water I had to plug in the electric kettle on the nightstand beside the bed because there were not enough sockets. The bathroom was not in the room (I had to contract it) and was actually on the floor below. Both the room (dirty) and the bathroom had a damp smell. Giving it one star is a stretch. Everything else at the hotel was terrible.

The location is truly central. For a single night, to rest and go out, it’s acceptable for the price. The room was large and clean. I didn’t realize that check‑in was only from 3 pm to 6 pm, and my train arrived at 10:30 am; nobody could check me in. When I reached the entrance there was a square full of people drinking, bottles and clothes on the door, and I literally had to push my way through to get inside. It was a scare, but we needed to rest.

The only decent thing was the location, in Piazza Santissima Annunziata a few steps from the Duomo. Everything else was awful. The room was dirty, as was the bathroom, with marks on the shower walls and crumbs in the bed. Overall cleaning was lacking. The staff were nonexistent. We had more than one issue with check‑in (the absurd demand to pay 30 € for check‑in outside the ridiculous 3‑hour window!). The door opened terribly, risking us being locked out at night, and no one answered the phone or calls. The price is ridiculously high for the service. If you can, sleep elsewhere.

The location was good. The room was spacious. The shower tiles had mold and the room in general was not clean.

The setting was fine. The bathroom had a large insect in the tub and the cleaning was insufficient.
