Clean and well‑located, but the room needed updating, refreshing, and minor repairs; the A/C didn’t cool the whole room, and the curtains didn’t close fully.

We were staying for a weekend that coincided with our son's wedding, so we had all our formal wear out. The next morning, my husband noticed his shoes were missing; they were still boxed and brand new. The first room assigned to us was already occupied—there was food on the dresser and shoes left untied on the floor. When we opened the door, my husband shouted that someone was inside, turned around, and left. Later we discovered that a pair of shoes had been stolen from our room.
