The hotel is very beautiful, the food is excellent, and the staff are very courteous.

I stayed in a large, spacious room with a big bathroom, and a bag of sweets on the pillow welcomed me. Parking was available either in front of the hotel or behind it. The restaurant food was very tasty, and the ladies serving breakfast in the morning were the friendliest. The owner personally approached us as well. The breakfast was delicious, and the beds and mattresses were good. The nearest city is a fifteen‑minute drive away, and we spent three nights there. However, towels were not changed daily. I asked them to remove the mobile spiders from the bedroom and bathroom, they promised it but never did. We had to wait a long time for our food in the restaurant, and we had to ask for a small bottle of water three times. In the restaurant we were ignored: we really wanted to order a dessert, I even stood in line at the bar to inform them but was completely ignored. We left the dessert menu on the table and left without dessert. The light above the nightstand got very hot and left a burn on us. The restaurant is closed on certain days, so there was no option for a cup of coffee or tea. There is no kettle or coffee maker in the room, and none nearby. We couldn't bring our bike inside.

Breakfast was very good, location very good, staff very friendly. The room was a bit Spartan, and the price was the same as modern rooms.

The hotel sits in a very central spot in Germany, right next to Luxembourg. We booked the Königsberg apartment, which was large and luxurious. Breakfast was fine with plenty of choices, and the restaurant serves delicious food. Short trips to Luxembourg and within Germany are easily reachable. The only issue was that the double bed in the apartment creaked quite a bit, which didn't match the otherwise comfortable apartment.
