The price was good and the hotel was within walking distance of the station and a convenience store, and I could watch YouTube and Prime Video on the TV, which I liked. On the downside, mold was obvious in the bathroom and there was no exhaust fan, so that must be a construction flaw; it’s a budget place so I can tolerate it, but it feels out of line with the higher ratings from other reviews.

The aunt was very sweet and guided us through everything, the room was just the right size, and there was a common area where we spent a lot of time playing snooker, making the stay worth it. It’s close to the MRT, so getting to the floating market takes only a few minutes, and I’ll definitely come back for more errands in the area.

The short stay was comfortable and clean, and overall it was good value for money. We checked in late by ourselves and the staff gave us the wrong combination, so we couldn’t get into the building at midnight, which was quite stressful; luckily the staff replied with the correct combo after we messaged them.

The place is very cheap and about 5 to 7 minutes on foot from the Bang Wa MRT/BTS station if you take your time. The staff were friendly and helped move luggage up and down. The room was small, but enough for one person and even two if you don’t spend much time indoors. It’s tiny and not a lot to offer, but it’s also very affordable compared to other accommodations, so if you want a cheap room with good mobility, this is it. The only downside is that you have to walk up 4 floors to reach your room, so keep that in mind if you’re not good at walking. Also the shower curtains in the bathroom were a bit mouldy and might need replacing.

The ladies’ boss provided great service. If you’re not a backpacker, you might want to go elsewhere because there’s no lift; choose another place and pay more. For the price, it’s the best in Bangkok and it’s close to the train station.
