Contact with nature and a view of the lagoon. It’s thirty minutes from the city and not known to taxi drivers. The accommodation has no restaurant or cooking facilities; you have to leave the city to eat.

The staff were incredibly easy to work with, especially Mary and Lida who were not only helpful and kind but also excellent cooks. The property itself and the view are stunning, and the place is very quiet. You get the sense that the hotel is there to assist you, yet you feel as if the entire property is yours alone.

The scenery in front of the lagoon is beautiful. Getting to the hotel is a bit tricky, about a 5‑minute drive uphill.

The view right from the bed is simply spectacular. The facility is well kept and nicely arranged, and the staff are extremely friendly and attentive to guests’ wishes. The shower provides a little water, and the breakfast could be more varied, but that didn’t bother me and you definitely get full. Unfortunately, the coffee was very poor, though tea lovers will be satisfied.

A gorgeous spot above the lake. The accommodation is original and very comfortable. Dinner outside by the fire pit is lovely, and there’s a great hike starting from the site. The welcome was excellent. The car access is tough, via a very narrow track that leaves the lake; make sure you don’t miss it.
