“Gut, aber nicht so luxuriös, wie es wirkt.”
Super good location to the beach, balcony with sea view. We had panoramic sea view with huge windows. You could look out at the sea from bed in the morning. Really great! Also there’s a nice roof terrace with yoga mats.
Very sparsely furnished. The pictures show dressers that aren’t actually there. No nightstands to put phones and glasses. We had the room for two and could use the extra beds as storage for clothes. Also hardly any way to hang wet clothes to dry. Somehow we managed (on the balcony table and railing, which was risky in strong wind). Same in the bathroom. There was a towel bar, but nothing else. There was only one shared small towel and a larger one per person. The towels weren’t replaced. I found that lacking for a seaside place. Some towels were discolored. Breakfast was nothing special, but fine. Overall we were still very happy with the stay and would book the hotel again. The hotel is definitely simpler than it looks in the pictures. A few tips about Imsouane unrelated to the hotel: we had no water for half a day, which affected the whole town. That seems to happen more often. For arrival we booked a public bus. It was extremely dirty and hot and only stops at a taxi stand outside Imsouane. From there you need a taxi for 50 MAD per person. Instead there’s also souktosurf. It’s more expensive, but more comfortable and goes straight into town. We booked that on the way back. Imsouane is really very small. If you want to experience something other than surfing, you should go to Taghazoud or Tamraghd. For us Imsouane was perfect because we just wanted to chill. There are some restaurants and snack stalls, mini‑markets, cafés and surf rentals. Otherwise nothing much. The distances are short and there are no street vendors on the beach trying to sell you stuff. We found that at the end of the Moroccan trip super!
