“Kyllä siellä nukuttua sai.”
No breakfast, but the location was fine. The room’s cleanliness could use a little more attention.
The location was in the city center and very quiet. I was the only guest, so the atmosphere felt a bit deserted. The room was in poor condition and the whole place was quite shabby.
“Okay”
I could get to the train station in no time, but I couldn't make a cup of tea in my room because there was no kettle or tea supplies.
“Nukkumassa kävin kun en autossakaan yötä halunnut viettää.”
The bed and linens were pleasant, but the room walls and ceiling had exposed surfaces and cracks. Near the window, the ceiling had a large moisture damage, paint and material were broken, and there were moisture stains. The room was hot, had no air‑conditioning vents, and only one toilet. The toilet door had tax marks? I removed them. The floor hadn’t been vacuumed for a while; I moved the trash, but there was litter on the floor. The room had a strong, stale odor. Overall, a very disappointing experience.
“Historiaa uhkuva rakennus jonka soisi palautuvan loistoonsa aikaa myöden. Tulisin uudestaan.”
The location was perfect, with a street‑side parking spot for a car. The train stop was also convenient, just a few hundred meters away. Two shops and several restaurants were nearby. I had breakfast at a nearby café for a reasonable price. The hotel could have offered tea, coffee, and a kitchen area in the breakfast room, plus a fridge in the room. The building itself had a charming old community‑house vibe, letting you peek in. Earplugs were provided by the hotel, and the main street ran under the window, which quieted down in the evenings. I’m not sure if the ventilation was on at all or very low, because the room felt a little warm and the air seemed stale. I could open the window, and it was a bit drafty all night, which was actually helpful. The toilet fixtures were a bit old but functioned well.
