“Location difficult at time of our visit due to road works. Loved the bedroom and en-suite great space.”
The bedrooms were great and the pub was friendly. The breakfast was basic.

The host was very nice. The shower was large and suitable even for larger people. There is a separate room to eat delivered food. Delicious cider and Guinness at the pub – only a few steps away. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was a bit sparse; a slice of cheese or sausage would have been nice, but it was enough to avoid starting the day hungry.

The place was clean, well stocked, and easily accessed once the roadworks finish. Unfortunately there are no lifts or anything to the rooms (for those who may need it), but the pub itself is flat and easily accessible. The bed was comfortable. The room was small but cozy, and the bedding was good (though it had been too hot to use!). Overall the room was comfortable. We much prefer staying on top of pubs, especially when the owners are as nice as the Harps. Everything was well stocked. The TV was in good working order with all your normal terrestrial channels. The only thing we could’ve used was either a fan (though I am sure if I asked, the owners would’ve tried to accommodate) or possibly some blackout curtains, as the ones now let quite a bit of light in in the morning.

We had a nice stay overall. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly. There were just a couple of little things that could have made it even better. There was only one towel in the room even though it was booked for two people, so we had to ask for another. Also, there was a live band playing in the pub, and the music was really loud in our room. We don’t mind live music, but it would have been nice to have been told beforehand so we knew what to expect or could have asked for a quieter room. Apart from that, we enjoyed our stay
