“Härlig mini semester”
The staff were super friendly, and the hotel feels cozy with nice rooms, but it was a shame the TV didn’t work.

Perched on a hillside overlooking Lake Siljan, Bruntegården is a family‑run guest house in a restored 1868 building, just 1 km from central Rättdag. It offers a spacious terrace with lake vistas, individually decorated rooms featuring wooden floors, flat‑screen TVs, and some lake views.

Excellent kitchen, nice wine cellar, friendly staff, and a relaxed atmosphere. The view is lovely. The property is located high above the center on a slope with a nice view. If you’re not young and spry, you’ll need a car to get down to the center of Rättvik.

Breakfast was good, and the location was nice. The bathroom was not fresh, old, and cramped. The photos showed newly renovated rooms, tiled bathrooms, which was not the case at all. The whole place unfortunately smells old and dusty.

Breakfast was very good, and the surroundings were beautiful. The four‑course dinner was delicious.

The staff were friendly with excellent service and courtesy. The food was great, the place was nice with a lovely room, a cozy restaurant, and a wonderful view. There was a family‑like feel. The only downside was a bit of noise from the other rooms.
