Hotel Hacienda Combia, located just outside Calarcá, is a historic 1887 farmhouse offering free Wi-Fi and panoramic views from its outdoor pool. Ornate rooms feature colourful frames and yellow textiles, with views of the landscape and pool. The hotel features a sauna, hydromassage tub, and sun terrace with deck chairs. Breakfast is served in the restaurant, and excursions to coffee plantations are arranged.

The staff were courteous, but the location is close to a national highway where large transport trucks pass day and night.

The hotel facilities are very good: pool, restaurant, room. The surroundings around the hotel for walking are very pleasant and the views from the pool are great. The initial access is a bit complicated if you bring a low car.

The place was spotless, the room was great, the staff were friendly, and the pool, jacuzzi, and surrounding nature were all wonderful.

The coffee plantation trail and the facilities were impressive, and the restaurant was also exquisite; I must point out their environmental commitment. When we tried to leave, the Ubers wouldn’t pick us up because of the location, but the hotel staff arranged a driver for us—thanks a lot!
