The location is excellent, the staff are helpful, and the rooms are larger with modern amenities. Breakfast is good with many options, and it’s very close to nice cafés and the beach.

“Decent hotel in a great location, but that's about it.”

The spot is great, just 5 minutes from the beach, surrounded by shops, restaurants, and supermarkets. Across the street is a fantastic all‑day breakfast place (recommended) and good coffee. The rooms are nice and fairly clean. Small balconies surrounded by greenery are very pleasant. There’s air conditioning and a mini‑fridge. The mini‑fridge is noisy and should have been fixed long ago. The shower head is broken—either the head itself or the gasket between the hose and the head needs replacement. A light fixture above the bathroom mirror is missing a bulb, which matters for anyone with a beard or mustache. The room info says cleaning happens every three days, but during my 8‑day stay the room wasn’t cleaned at all, so trash piled up in the bin. On day 7 I was told cleaning could be requested, but it was too late. There are very few hangers. Reception staff change constantly, and none speak Russian or English well, causing inconvenience. Breakfast is very basic, more or less buffet‑style, and the coffee is instant. There’s no other place in the hotel to get coffee except breakfast. The balcony faces the inner courtyard, which also means the windows of neighboring rooms, so keep that in mind. All the negatives I mentioned are minor and not huge issues, especially if you’re staying for a week just to relax and sunbathe. But in my view, they reflect the overall attitude and service level. Most of these could be fixed quickly if someone cared. Considering the price, that’s my rating. Maybe if the price were lower, the rating would be higher.

The hotel is in the very center, everything within walking distance. The price‑to‑quality ratio is good. Breakfast is quite normal. Minor repairs were fixed upon request. The hotel owner is very friendly. Cleaning and towel replacement only happen on request, and you need to leave the key. The bed is very low.

“Good location but average facilities and unwelcoming staff”

The location was perfect—just a 5‑minute walk to the beach, plenty of shops and restaurants, and close to all major attractions in Batumi. But location alone isn’t enough for a good hotel. The staff were very unwelcoming. They gave me a room on the 3rd floor with no lift, refused a room change when I asked, and didn’t even offer to carry my luggage up. Breakfast was average. The bed was bad and uncomfortable for two, and there were no complimentary water bottles.

I had already mentioned that our check‑in didn’t happen because the booking was cancelled. The booking was cancelled because the owner increased the price during the confirmation of details without explaining the reason or basis.
