The room was huge, and the staff went out of their way to answer every question – a solid team.

The location was top, the staff were eager to help, and the room itself was very nice, but we were first given the wrong room; after we complained we received the correct one, which still carried a lingering cigarette odor from the previous guest, so uncomfortable; the staff then set a fan in the room, which helped a bit.

I've been coming back for many years and always felt at home, but this time the room layout changed; the Wi‑Fi was fine and breakfast was decent, yet I’m not sure if it’s just my fatigue from staying here too often amid many Shanghai options or if the new layout just didn’t hit the same vibe; the biggest letdown was housekeeping – the cleaning was not up to standard, and I’m left uncertain about this place.
