The beds were very comfortable, the beach‑side location was easy to reach, and the fridge with a freezer was handy for road‑trips. The motel’s quality was really good; the building isn’t fancy, but it’s been well cared for and comfortably furnished.

The motel sits in a fantastic spot on the Cardwell waterfront, making it a perfect pit‑stop for those heading between Cairns and Townsville—worth taking a break to soak in a slice of paradise. The rooms are clean, fully equipped for a night or two, and there are a few dining choices just a short walk down the street. The staff are friendly and helpful, and since we’ve stayed here before, we’ll definitely return on our next road trip.
