The breakfast was tasty, and compared to the Route Inn right in front of us, the Japanese‑style spread at Pre‑Mont felt more satisfying. The room met typical hotel cleanliness standards and didn’t feel uncomfortable. I knew in advance that the presence or absence of a large public bath was a big factor; the nearby eateries are a bit far from the station, so you’re left with generic fast‑food chains like Family Restaurant, Sukiya, and CoCo Ichibanya, which might feel bland if you’re there for sightseeing.
