The spot is fantastic, right next to the theatre, and the street ends quietly; the staff were friendly and very helpful, so I’ll recommend it! The only downside was that sound travels between rooms—TVs, conversations, and other noises are easily heard.

Everything was perfect: the location, the lovely staff, the super luxurious historic room and bath, and the fab breakfast. I couldn’t get the Nespresso machine to work, but that didn’t matter because I just went downstairs for great coffee with my breakfast.

The room and bed were very comfortable and quaint, and the afternoon cake/tea and morning breakfast were delicious. The staff were exceptional in guiding us through check‑in and parking options. The location was great with walking access to the riverfront and town, but at 2:30 am there was a lot of commotion as people left the bars—our room faced the street and we had the windows open.
