I stayed in a Japanese-style room with a futon; the house was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped, though it didn't have a stove. The location was ideal, right next to a major Kumano shrine and across from a snack alley where I found a delicious sweet potato. The only downside was the lack of a stove, which limited breakfast options, but I managed. No other problems.

Just outside Kumano Suketa Taisha, they arranged a parking spot right away. It was my first time staying in a shared type, but it was clear and easy to use. I used the Japanese-style room, but it seemed to have a slight mildew smell—maybe a characteristic of the old house.

A very pretty inn right in the heart of Shingu, perfect. The host was warm and attentive to every detail.
