“Sehr gemühtliches Familienhotel in einer wundervollen Umgebung”

The hosts were very friendly and surprised us by giving my wife and me two glasses of champagne at breakfast on my birthday, even though she didn’t mention the occasion. That gesture was a pleasant surprise. The hotel’s location is great, offering plenty to do. On 15 August we headed up to Medvědín for sunset dinner, live music, and an excellent grill buffet, which made my birthday in Czechia truly memorable. The other evenings we enjoyed the superb cuisine from Kristyna & Martin. The only downside was that, because I’m tall, the beds with footboards were a bit uncomfortable.

The hotel is set in a beautiful, peaceful area and everything was very clean and well maintained. Breakfast was tasty, fresh, and varied. The staff member who served us was especially noteworthy – very competent, friendly, and clearly in control of his duties. It’s clear he knows what he’s doing and cares about guests. Having such an employee is a real advantage. Our stay was very successful and we’ll gladly return.

Very quiet, great location. The staff were friendly and helpful, making you feel at home. There was nothing to complain about.

“Super pobyt w super miejscu”

The service was friendly, helpful and kind. The food was delicious; breakfasts were varied enough, with excellent bread, while the restaurant offered generous portions at normal prices, with quality and preparation at a superb level. The room was clean, the bathroom spacious, the bed large and comfortable. The hotel décor was very atmospheric, with many photos and displays to admire in the corridors and restaurant; everything was tidy, neat and well maintained. The view from the window was fantastic, and the hotel itself is a short walk from the centre (15‑20 minutes), making it quiet, peaceful, and essentially free of tourists during the season (mid‑August weekend). In the quiet of the restaurant terrace, you can enjoy the views. The only downside was that payment for the stay had to be made in Czech cash; normally the restaurant accepts card. I didn’t expect this, perhaps I didn’t see the information on the site, but I received the notice at the very start and had plenty of time (until departure) to arrange cash. I recommend the ATM at the information desk in central Spindleruv Mlyn, which offers large withdrawal limits, unlike the euronet.
