“Very nice”
The location is excellent. I even saw the northern lights from the hotel parking lot, which was a wonderful surprise. The room and bathroom were spacious, breakfast was very good and generous, and the rooms had good soundproofing, so it was nice and quiet at night. About a month before my stay, an unexpected situation arose and I asked the hotel if I could cancel my reservation with a refund. Unfortunately, that wasn’t possible, so I had to reorganize my trip. I appreciate that the hotel was willing to help by allowing me to change the reservation dates. That said, I feel there could have been a little more flexibility in this situation. With a month’s notice, I thought there was a reasonable amount of time to potentially rebook the room, especially in a destination with such high tourist demand. I understand that there are policies in place, but I would have appreciated a bit more flexibility given the circumstances.
