“Gostei bastante”

The room was really good and spotless; the AC worked flawlessly. Breakfast was wonderful and the staff were very attentive. However, the location makes it hard to find a decent restaurant—what I tried was disappointing, burnt, too salty, and I wish the lodge had a partnership with a local eatery that could deliver to the property. Dinner was also poor. I think installing a ceiling or standing fan would help enjoy the balcony at night; the hammock is fine, but after 16:00 the mosquitoes from the dense vegetation make it impossible to stay outside. A fan would be handy.

“Entre prós e contras de Tassimirm”

The lodge sits in Atlantic forest right on the sea, surrounded by lush greenery, quiet and calm, especially at night. From the right you can reach Tassimirm/Cueira/Moreré/Bainema/Castelhanos beaches, from the left Boca da Barra and Boipeba village; the paths are narrow trails through the forest, with beach on one side and other lodges on the other, making it a good choice for those wanting isolation and access to Tassimirm and Cueira, the nearest beaches. The whole staff is very helpful, rooms are clean with daily towel and rug changes. The room is simple but spacious, high ceilings, balcony with hammock, table, chairs. The location may or may not appeal depending on perspective, because the walk to Boca da Barra and Boipeba isn’t short, so staying at the lodge feels somewhat isolated from village services (market, pharmacy, bars, restaurants, cafés). The bathroom needs upgrades: a shower stall instead of a plastic curtain, a higher flow shower head, and a bidet. Breakfast is tasty and well-made, but the variety doesn’t change much day to day, so many days feel repetitive.

“It is worth the 5 hours trip (2 boats plus 2 hours taxi)”

Breakfast was very good. The beaches in BOIPEBA are amazing and the hotel sits just in front of a nice, quiet beach.

The accommodation is cozy, close to nature and the beaches. The lodge’s food is very good and one of the cheapest in the area—totally worth it. The staff are helpful and excellent. Literally right by the sea, you can sleep to the sound of waves. The downside came on a rainy, windy day with power outages and voltage fluctuations; the AC didn’t work, mosquitoes buzzed in my ears, the shower was cold, and a lamp flickered constantly. The next day everything returned to normal.

“Relaxante”

The lodge sits right on the beach with an amazing view, and the staff were incredibly helpful. The only downside was that a small stretch of the path isn’t lit at night, but that didn’t spoil the experience.
