“Kids enjoyed the pool and was a good stay.”

The stay was quiet and peaceful, and the price was great for the time of stay. The carpet could be replaced with flooring; it felt damp to the feet but otherwise the place was nice.

“Our experience”

The room wasn’t cleaned properly: hair littered the shower, the sink lacked a hair dryer, the shower rail was broken, screws were missing, and red stains marred the wall. Box elder bugs were on the windows and curtains, the floors were stained, and there were hard objects along the wall. Behind the headboard was filthy with trash; we had to bring Clorox wipes and trash bags because the room had no trash can. The ice box was dirty and stained, and the lamp by the TV flickered, so we unplugged it for safety. We stayed because no other rooms were available during the event in Rapid City. Aside from the dirty room, the location was fine and traffic was no issue.

“A mixed bag of good and bad.”

1. We found food spread around at the entrance to our room, and it was not picked up until the next day, even though we complained twice. Some food inadvertently stuck to our footwear, and we tracked it into our room, making a mess. 2. The shower floor was slippery, which poses a hazard, since there was no safety bar. The knob that controls the water temperature did not function well and should be replaced with a more modern fixture

Breakfast at a good restaurant was within walking distance. The only downside was that there was no elevator.

Nothing. It smelled really gross, our room floors was stained and the room smelled like pickles and dirty shoes. We didn't even get under the covers to sleep
