We booked for 5 pm but the owner never answered. By the time we got there at 6:30 the phone was dead and we had to ask neighbors if the apartment even existed. The owner showed up at 7:40 with sheets and demanded a €50 deposit even though we’d already paid the nightly rate online, and the place was filthy. We had to scramble for another room, paying cash on the spot for my daughter with a disability, and the owner only texted that we could stay at 8:38—way too late.

The spot was spot on—right next to a supermarket with good prices and the air‑conditioning was a lifesaver. The only hiccup was that the kitchen trash from the previous guest was still hanging around, which was a bit annoying.

The studio was clean, fully equipped, and the hosts were polite and unobtrusive. It’s only 15‑20 minutes on foot to the center and beach, and the free parking and nearby 24‑hour market were huge pluses. The downside? The building sits in a residential block opposite a big water park that plays loud music and bass from 9:30 to 18:00, especially 16‑18, so the noise seeps in even with windows closed—hard to relax with kids.
