When I arrived at the hotel, it was raining and a car was parked in the entrance, blocking others from getting in to drop off luggage. Both I and other guests had to walk in the rain. The reception, which took a long time to attend to us, explained that the car’s owner had parked there that morning and they couldn’t locate her (it was already 18:30). Additionally, the room was small, had leaks in the bathroom, and there were too few staff to attend.

The location is perfect, close to everything, right next to Rua Coberta and Rua Torta, and near good restaurants, which I loved. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of fruits and cakes. The room I booked had no window, and that wasn’t listed on the Booking site – it only had a skylight, so it would have been useful to note on the site that it’s cheaper because it lacks windows. I had to pay an extra fee at check‑in to get a room with a window.

Everything was great. The automatic bathroom deodorizer wasn’t working to remove toilet odors, and since three of us shared the same bathroom, it was unpleasant.

The location, infrastructure, and common areas were immaculate, and the breakfast was plentiful and varied; the staff were attentive and very helpful. However, the room cleaning and replenishment of bath products and drinks were lacking – we had to wait two days for water and had to leave the room to get replacements for bath items, and the floor was dirty.

The location is spectacular, but the coffee options could be better. Still, I’d stay again since I’ve already been here twice.
