After a long day walking the Camino, I found Victor’s place to be a superb stop – comfortable, homely, with a billiard, a pool, and several cosy relaxation corners that feel lovingly designed; it’s close to a bar‑restaurant for refueling, so I highly recommend it.

The structure is fabulous, spotless, and very welcoming, and the staff went out of their way to prepare breakfast for us even though we left at an unusually early hour.

The wooden tables were amazing, the art and décor were noteworthy, the pool was clean and shaded on hot days, and Victor was kind enough to let us use the facilities after checkout; Joana was also very friendly. However, we were not prepared for our arrival, and the rooms lacked air‑conditioning, though the rest of the house had a pleasant natural temperature.

The large house was comfortable and thoughtfully decorated; the common areas were shared, and the host was accommodating and very friendly. The cleaning lady, however, arrived at 8 am to tidy the rooms without any prior notice.
