The room was spacious, the huge garden and terrace were great for relaxing, the pool was nice, they let you leave bicycles, and the manager Marcial had a good vibe. However, out of the three mattresses in the room, two were quite improvable, and breakfast was very improvable with bagged biscuits and muffins; a decent loaf of bread from the excellent bakery 100 m away would have rounded out an otherwise very satisfying experience.

It’s a historic house that feels timeless; it’s lovely to see that time doesn’t pass there, and the warm welcome on arrival makes it hard to ask for more.

A friendly staff member greeted me, and the rooms were in a garden area that surprised me for being in the city center; parking is available inside. The breakfast was just a bit limited.
