We had a wonderful experience at Kabir Royal. The location was great, the staff very friendly, and the rooms clean and tidy. It was a short walk to the temple, and we managed to cover everything we needed to.

The location is very convenient to the center of town, and the hotel is accessible for early‑morning visits to the Golden Temple. The manager was friendly and very helpful with arranging rides to the border ceremony and the train station. Nothing against the hotel or the management; taking a cab to the center of town is likely safer than walking as a pedestrian on the busy roads.
