Everything was great: good location, cleanliness, organization, generous breakfast, excellent value for money, staff service impeccable. The only issue was that the internet signal needs improvement, and the game room’s ping-pong table isn’t functioning.

What a wonderful lodge, I loved everything. The lodge is very close to Praia Grande de Ilha Bela, a beach with an amazing sunset, and you can even see the sunrise from the lodge because it sits on a slope. Breakfast is tasty, and if you order a packed lunch they lend you a bowl and cutlery; there’s a filter in the kitchen where you can fill your bottle to keep it in the minibar. On the room balcony there’s a fantastic hammock. We didn’t have any bugs, the infestation was minimal, and the room has air conditioning and a ceiling fan which help a lot; in my experience I bought Baygon and applied it in the room, leaving everything closed, and at night there were absolutely no bugs. There’s a supermarket, pharmacy, and pastry shop very close by. Incredible experience, stayed 4 days and loved it! The host Theruza is a sweetheart, she guided us to restaurants, tours, beaches and made us feel very welcome. The sea‑land tour we took, suggested by her, was wonderful. Receptionist Andreza is very helpful, she cleans the room if you leave a note for cleaning, the room smells nice and the bathroom is very clean too.

We love this pousada and it’s our second stay, this time in a larger apartment. Aretusa’s service is always outstanding, which is definitely why we keep returning. Breakfast is great too, and the cakes are delicious. One area that could improve is the supply in the unit we used – there was a kitchen but it lacked some utensils and glasses, and it would be nice to have salt, oil and sugar stocked, since we ended up buying a lot and using very little. The shower handle also wasn’t working properly.

The lodge was fantastic, the breakfast was superb and the service was outstanding—kudos to the staff for a perfect 10 rating.

Spotlessly clean, organized and beautiful, the breakfast was spectacular, especially the delicious mango juice.
