Quiet, private, clean, a spacious bathroom, and a comfy bed. The room was a bit too small—the fridge was too close to the bed and its crockery and cutlery rattled every time the fridge was opened or bumped, which happened often because of its proximity to the bed. This issue could be fixed by removing unnecessary items or adding wall shelves to create more space. Getting someone to hold the keys when we left was a bit difficult.

I was welcomed by the staff before my official booking time, which was a big help. The only downside was that the stay lasted just a few hours.

Breakfast wasn’t included in my booking. Before leaving, I wrote down every flaw of the room and handed the list to the receptionist, telling her to pass it to the manager; I’m not sure if she did.

The location was easy to find and there was plenty of time to check out. The staff were friendly, but the place needs an outdoor seating area for braai and a way to reduce noise from the neighboring room.
