A very quiet spot with a friendly, attentive welcome.

Everything was perfect; the human touch mattered most, and the hostess was charming while the kids were friendly, especially the 4‑year‑old rugby apprentice. The big dog seemed eager to eat us or at least taste us, but it turned out to be very friendly. The accommodation was comfortable, clean, and well‑equipped. The only drawback is the road from Oyonnax—7‑8 km, winding, and poorly marked at night, though it offers beautiful scenery by day. The night route is the issue.

I liked how close everything was to the activities I had planned, but the noise from residents in the garage and on the stairs was a bit annoying.

The welcome was good and overall comfort was fine, but kitchen steam drifts in through the bathroom skylight and the roof makes it extremely hot.

The room was nice, easily accessible, tidy, and had everything needed: fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, and a bit of crockery, so we could dine and have breakfast in the room with plenty of privacy. We stayed one night, and it was the ideal setup. The only thing I’d advise is that there are no nearby eating spots, so bring something to heat in the microwave or order via Uber Eats, though we didn’t use that option.
