The place had a decent location, but it wasn’t clean and the shower didn’t heat up.

When we needed help, Mega was the best. Our first room had cold showers, no kettle, and intermittent Wi‑Fi. The second room had hot showers, a kettle, but still no Wi‑Fi. After the crowds left, there was no fruit for breakfast, and the tea and coffee were limited. The other guests were a nightmare, partying until 1 am and not being kept in check; we asked them to be quiet.

Les chambres basiques n'ont pas de vue sur le lac. Hôtel extrêmement bruyant, le personnel communique via des talkies walkies h24. Nous avions l'impression que les voix étaient dans notre chambre

The hotel sits in a great spot, close to many restaurants, and has a fairly large parking area. Our room was clean and cozy, though the veranda had a lot of fallen leaves (not a problem). The morning view was great. They have a private pier for guests whose cars are parked at Parapat, and during high tide the private pool connects to Lake Toba. Breakfast was good, and they provide free basic amenities. The shower wasn’t warm enough, and the hard water left a metallic taste after brushing teeth, so using bottled water might help.
