Nothing good about this place; it was filthy and lurid, like a 1980s regional train toilet in Italy. The main issue was the lack of cleanliness—so grim that I wasn’t sure whether it was worse to sleep on the floor or in the bed. The “room” was only 2 m by 2 m, barely fitting two people, with a broken window, hanging wooden scraps, rotting wool curtains, and a prison‑style bed with no sheets. The owner seemed a compulsive hoarder, with stuff scattered everywhere, even a motorbike, stacked boxes, all covered in dust; I never saw a shower, so I slept dressed. The place stank, was in a crappy suburb, cost less than other options, and was near the Shinkansen station. I read negative reviews but never imagined such a nightmare. I even thought it might be a serial killer’s house, and the host asked for my blood type, as if he’d kill me for burgers. Seriously, don’t stay here and I’m amazed you’re paying this guy to be on your platform; do proper checks! It’s not even suitable for waiting for a bus.
