“Check everything in your room to make sure it works properly before leaving the hotel for the day”
Very spacious suites. Delicious hot breakfast. Nice selection of food. Good location/ centrally located to where I needed to go. Friendly staff; but I encountered a problem that was NEVER resolved so I don't feel I had the TRUE Marriott experience. First, the room I selected and reserved was unavailable, but wasn't told that until the no cancellation day (or you lose 1 night's stay). So, it was supposed to be a girl's weekend- together in 1 room and we had separate rooms. The front desk worker offered to put a note in my account to see if Marriott would give me some reward points. Second, the parking is HORRIBLE! Very tight parking and the overflow underneath had no elevator, so you had to carry bags up several stairs. Third, neither of my lamps in the living room worked. Neither did my tv in the bedroom. When I mentioned it late at night, I was told the hotel was sold out so I could not be moved, but the front desk worker told me he would have maintenance come to my room the next day. So, the next morning when I went down for breakfast, I told the a.m. front desk worker about my situation. She said she would have maintenance take a look. I was gone for 13 hours and low and behold, when I returned, the lamps and the tv STILL DIDN'T WORK! The next day, I checked out and mentioned it to a third front desk worker who was gracious enough to add some loyalty reward points to my account
