The friendly welcome and the fantastic restaurant downstairs. Recommend you book ahead as very popular. No breakfast possible, but there is a good café 10 minutes drive away.

The restaurant on‑site is top‑notch and the owner and staff are genuinely friendly. The rooms are modern, clean and come with a handy kitchenette, plus the Wi‑Fi works without a hitch. The only downsides are the lack of air‑conditioning and an emergency exit that feels unsafe – a rope ladder outside the window would be a simple fix.

The place sits inland, about eight kilometres from the bustling beach during peak season, which is nice if you want to avoid the crowds. Unfortunately there’s no breakfast despite having a restaurant that only serves lunch and tapas until 6 pm, and the noise carries on until then. After that the host became unreachable, which was a bit frustrating.

We were welcomed warmly, got comfortable beds, and the room was spacious with air‑conditioning and a nice view. The staff even gave us local tips on where to find a bakery and a great breakfast spot, which turned out to be excellent. The only odd thing was that the coffee maker in the room had no cup or glass, just cutlery, probably because they were busy prepping a dinner for a party that night.
